Here Staples died. Probably because I bought superior parts on Newegg these last 20 years building computers. They went out of business.

Office depot still lives. But on what I don't rightly know. They try so hard.

 

yeah, those stores get the bare bones systems. i currently have an HP< got it at office max a few years ago.

i tend to rip them open and replace many things, other than the mother board...

 

I bought a Epson off them a big ink jet printer off their damage rack no box for 90 dollars. Retail 500.

Drivers from the internet files found and installed and boom I had me a rocking printer.

#### thing lasted oh 18 years before it started losing it's count on wore out track.

Im running off a 30 dollar Brothers printer/fax/scanner etc and it's 50 dollars to feed it. We learned to go to University and print there 50 pages for free.

 

yeah, i cheap out on printers and get a really good long life outta them. this one guy that was a co-worker would buy a new printer, every time it needed ink, he said printers were cheaper than ink, which can be true, but i buy the "long life" ink....i usually buy HP products.

 

Funny, there is a HOUSTON, Georgia, an ATLANTA, Texas, a CLEVELAND, Georgia. This list is endless, stay in this business long enough and you might well get bit!

 

Call the customer as soon as possible after you are dispatched to verify address, appointment time and preferred local route, if any.

 

i used to do that all the time, especially if it was the first time there. i used to keep those index cards with all information...that was our computers back then
