They are 1996 models, one is a Wabash and the other is a Fruehauf (sp?). Condition, I would list as at least good for both, they are 13 years old, but no major damage. The Wabash has a patch or two on the roof (it is just out of the frame in the picture) but no leaks. There are a few dings in the plywood inside, but again no major damage. I think the Fruehauf is in need of a door seal, but also no major damage. I really have no frame of miles traveled, but my mother-in-law took very good care of her equipment - it was her livelihood. If they didn't run, she didn't! Both have recently been DOT'd

Why we are selling the trailers...(long)....

My wifes mother was an owner-operator of RTRUX LLC. She drove her own truck/trailer as well as owned a second trailer that was leased to a driver. It was her dream to own 10 trucks and really become something. I believe she would have to if it wasn't for years of smoking and pushing herself to the limit.

She passed away this past November just before Thanksgiving, we were to visit her during Thanksgiving but were too late. She lived in Arkansas we lived in Georgia. She told us how good she was doing but later found it was a lie. She had stage 4 lung cancer and died of complications associated with. During this tragic time my wife cried, fought, and screamed to keep her mothers dream alive.

My wife's mother had many friends in the trucking world..perhaps a few of you knew her? She asked a friend to driver her truck while she was undergoing chemo, she didn't have health insurance and just bought a house. After a few days of her passing this trusted friend called and said he couldn't drive anymore and to just let the business go. My wife endured and was able to get another driver, again another "friend" of her mothers. He lasted up until the beggining of this year, not making enough money (paying him 25% for loads).

This wouldn't be so bad except our leased driver got in a wreck and is unable to drive as well. We can't pay the insurance on the truck/trailers so my wife, doing the best she could have possibly done decided to shut it down. Her mothers house is being foreclosed the begining of June since we can't afford the payments.

Her mother didn't have any life insurance so we had to take what little savings we had to pay for her funeral, it was as bare as you can get but still cost several thousand. We haven't even had a memorial yet.

Which brings me to today... we were lucky in that her mother signed over her truck and trailer titles to my wife before she passed and were able to sell her truck (2001 Volvo) but we still have the 2 trailers.
