    Thats why I made it as plain as day. I don’t like his acting. Knowing that he’s a conservative favorite, and my liberal politics the assumption is that some would jump on that. That’s why I said what I said. So you’d see my intention was about acting not about politics. Josey Wales is one of the finest Westerns made. Number 2 in my book to Tombstone.

    Eastwood’s politics are immaterial to the point I was making.

    I don't know. I always thought of Eastwood as the perfect western actor. He actually got (one of) his starts on Gunsmoke

    Silverado is one of my favorite westerns. While Clint isn't really known for his acting, I really like the movies he's directed. Unforgiven comes to mind. Letters From Our Fathers....

    my nephew got his first acting role in an Eastwood movie........
    he was the pitcher in "Trouble With The Curve".
    imagine your first movie was with Clint Eastwood and John Goodman.....magic
