One difference between a Cascadia and a Coronado is electronics.
The Coronado is a more basic traditional truck electrically speaking. Each switch is wired directly to what ever it controls. The only computing it has are Motor Control Module, Common Powertrain Controller, ABS controller and the transmission if you get an auto shift.
The Cascadia uses a multiplexed wiring computer controller system. All the switches are wired on the same two wires, using electronic controller signals to tell the computer what you want to do. It has all of the above computers plus SAM Cab controller, SAM Chassis controller, HVAC controller, and other optional computers for lane departure, roll over protection, Etc.
