Theres a lotta Nelson haters over on the YB but he knows his ####!

 

And Henry was a low, low pile of dog poop. He was terrible to his employees and treated them like he owned them. Would visit your house to see if your family and house meet his standards.

 

One thing I learned the hard way when I lived out there was, don't get off the beltway! Because if you do you'll play hell gettin back on it, unless you know where your going. They didn't have on/off ramps like I was use to. Try drivin around the hood in a 1974 Green Pinto station wagon with the woodie paneling in 1981 as an 18 yr old fresh from Oklahoma with a partner from West Virginia. It was an interesting excursion back then, for us anyway, lol.

I gotta quit tellin on myself, I'm gonna get a reputation, lol.

 

I wonder why?? I thought he's built some cool stuff. Also I've seen a couple engines lose their cookies in that room. He builds 'em and ain't afraid to run the piss out of 'em. Prolly a bunch of trailer queens!! I ain't never wanted to own anything I could run wide open!! Where's the fun in that?!

 

It could definitely get interesting real quick in the wrong 'hood! Especially back then 'cause most of them were not good!!

 

But but ..... He was given a high level Award from the ruler of Germany.
How bad could he be if Adolf gave him the Grand Cross of the German Eagle on his 75th birthday ? That was the highest award that Germany could bestow on a foreigner then. It's said that Adolf kept a picture of Henry on his desk.

 

Oh we didn't do too much fast dancing!! Lol!! I was no Fred Astaire!! But it was always a great time!

 

A 74 Pinto amongst all the waxed up high shined Caddy's and Buick deuce and a quarters in front of broke down row houses?! Y'all were pretty brave! I hope you at least armor alled the tires!
