These water guys are stealing money right now up here. O/O are doing about $150-250 an hour. I spent about six out of fourteen on water last week. Water paid more than crude because it was 1.2 mile to the disposal

On the driving different.... Crude, Water, Sand, even pneumatic tanker. In the end. They will make about the same money? Or not much difference? Wondering? Will help the OP too.

I think water would probably be the most consistent, work wise, whether prices are up or down.
When sands popping it’s very good money, when it’s not well, you sit. Very feast or famine from what I’ve seen.
Idk about crude, maybe @LDLWells can chime in on that.
A lot of it though, I think comes down to who you’re working for and how they pay, and how much they pay. -
Water is way more consistent at this point. Most crude companies now are just flowback and emergencies. We bounce from flowback to flowback until a lact goes down. Most of the pipes in new plays are built and they only need crude haulers to handle the extra capacity

Yeah, every, single, well, in all of North America has its own private pipe running right up to the header, heck, why even have pumpers, you can gauge your tanks and work oil from the comfort of your own bed in your PJ’s..drinking your coco...

Sounds your working for a third party crude hailing company that realistically doesn’t have any of its own oil buying potential.
Anyone reading this post, please only consider company’s while going into crude hauling that actually buy their own oil, the HINT will be who’s name is on the tank your hauling from at the well.
