Problem I think is too many people are lost in their own little world, and don't look out of it unless forced too.

I've always said look at how people drive, tells a lot about them. When someone is by themselves, in their car, they get a sense of being isolated and anonymous. Now look at how many are driving down the road with a phone in their face, despite being told thousands of times how dangerous it is.

Their little fake world is more important to them than their own life.

Then see how many people will cut you off, tailgate, come within a split second of catastrophe, all to save a few seconds, if that? They're too self centered and arrogant, inconsiderate and stupid to actually use their brains and think about what they're doing.

And it's not just the younger generation, I see a lot of 50, 60, 70+ year olds that are some of the biggest aholes on the planet.

You can see this in a lot of areas in society, and life. It's why if a government entitlement program reaches enough people, it can't ever get touched. Look at social security, can't touch it, cause grandma cares more about herself, and her own little world, than wether or not her own kids and grandkids are gonna be robbed.

I know that's getting close to politics, but it shows a symptom of a societal sickness that has been spreading for generations.

 

Not really complaining but why do they put buffalo heads on nickles and I can't even get a dime ?

I always felt sorry for that Injun for havin a buffalo ace in his face...

 

Problem is unions, mainly the big unions, have become their own worst enemy. They became an arm of a political party, rather than fighting to benefit their members.
