    Kinda my thought. Years ago, drove the same 72 miles a day 6 days a week in my 05 silverado. Switched to Syn. and seen a increase in mpg but divided out it was still cheaper to run reg 5w30 at 3000 miles that 6000 with synth. with the mpg increase.
