    Wiley Sanders, Troy, AL, will hire you. They don't have the best reputation but they are not a mega, and they are close enough to your location, should you not like it, it's an easy ride back home.

    Buddy Moore Trucking, Opp, AL, may hire newbies (I'm not sure of their requirements)

    Rinaudo Jacksonville, FL, hires newbies and trains them for heavy haul, if you are into that kinda thing.

    Vernon Milling Co, Butler, AL, is a pneumatic tank carrier who may hire you in the Panhandle

    China gave you some good leads on Refrigerated carriers.

    I'm sure there are more when you dig in and really start looking at who and what is around the area.

    I would suggest you go to reefer to start. Why? Reefer drivers know how to back! They get the practice. Flat bed, and tanker drivers, don't know how to back. They say Reefer don't get no respect. They don't. But it's a good job, with lotsa work.

    Oh...and BTW: BillyBob's Alligator Eatery will hire you in a heart beat. Don't take the job! BillyBob's drivers disappear.
