How to apply for payment surety bond

    2 moths ago we did a load. Never received payment, contacted them and they say they are out of business, asked me to apply to their surety bond through FMCSA website and they gave me their surety bond #.
    Does anyone know how to apply for this? I been researching with no success. thanks in advance!

    Licensing & Insurance Warning apparently you have to call to register. I got that from this site Freight Broker Surety Bonds: How Claims Are Filed Against

    Send it to a collections specialist sooner than later. They usually work on comission, meaning they take a cut if they get any money from the broker
