Is there even a road there? Or is this one of those instances where he’s following his GPS and he’s on a foot path that goes through a park

This happened in Pittston Township, near Wilkes-Barre and Scranton.
Another classic case of a super trucker who thought he could get thru without hydro locking his engine.
More than likely the Susquehanna overflowed its banks, hence the flood.

careful with the sea... it's pretty dry around here. I offer you a tune of a Mail Packet that was top on the Atlantic until lost in the Cape Horn trying to redouble it.

Here is a darker tune, goes back to the Dutch 17th tale of a dead ship seeking souls. Flying Dutchman via the Jolly Rogers.

Bud A., Mototom and Lepton1 Thank this.

I can handle some high water. US287 comes to mind during rain storms above us to the north. Channels the waters 3 feet and fast north to south across the highway from the gridstreet subdivisons above. You need to be loaded for this one and be at 35 with full floor and punch it. If you had skirts just sit and wait 30 minutes. It will just push you off into the opposing traffic. Double sarcasm intended.

Just remember where your air intake is and your other important stuff. ECM and fuse in particular.
