Got to winco next door to terminal and they said no appt
Had csr call me and they reschedule it for tomorrow afternoon.
T Called it at the terminal and grabbed another load tomorrow morning down the street.
Going to Lynwood ca for a 15000 live unload tomorrow.
Then pick up another load at jurupa terminal that has a 1330 appt in Irwindale on the 28th.
Planner said if he gave me a load up to Sacramento or Redding that there were nno loads to get back sunday. Told him I take the first load and get back with my dm in the morning.

 

My dl lined me up with 2 preplans.
1st one is picking up in city of industry tomorrow morning at 1000 going to pheonix az anytime tomorrow.
2bd on is picking up in Chandler as on Saturday and tcalling it in jurupa terminal whenever I get there Saturday.
He said I could take off Sunday. So so be off until the 8th

 

Pheonix terminal.
Arrived at golden State foods(gsf) around 9 am
Had appt for 1000.
Have me a door right away. About 1130 they started to load me. Took them about an hour to get done.
Made the delivery at their dc here in pheonix. Came here for fuel and my ten.
Have between 7am to 11M for pickup in Chandler az then tcalling it at jurupa terminal

 

I delivered in Carlsbad, NM at around 1100 this morning. No pplan, and nothing for over an hour.
Then I get a plan that should have been picked up by a team by noon yesterday, as it delivers in IL tomorrow.
1445 miles, plus around 150 empty.

I had been afraid that I would be sitting because of the holiday weekend and have another low miles week, but this load will push me over 3,100 for the week.

So I'm here at the Petro in El Paso, TX, a few miles from the shipper. This JIT load will be a couple days late.

 

Jurupa terminal.
Just got back from. My fishing trip.
Drove straight here to see if I could get a truck. None available right now. A few tomorrow.
So drove to my storage to.put my fishi g stuff in and grab all my stuff for the truck.
Drove back here and doing lay dry.
Dnt said o e of the drivers is here. Gave him all day to get truck unpacked.
So hopefully he gets out soon.
One truck is In the shop and other driver not here yet.
Will have to get motel if I can't get in a truck tonight.
Still my day off. But wanted a truck to save some money lol

 

By the way.... I was not lucky in catching any fish. But still has a great 6 days o the ocean.

 

Got a motel room for tonite.
Guy was going to wait till someone came over to.pick him up after work then unload the truck
Terminal manager came over and said that the truck was going to be detailed in the morning anyways.

 

Wheeler ridge ca at the petro
The truck I was suppose to get was locked. Guy didn't get all his stuff out.
So they gave me a 17 cascade. Now have to get used to this new crap lol.
Trans is a 12 speed auto and e coast alot. My other international only did it when in cruise control
This truck does it all the time
Driving me nuts.
Not much storage. Told my dl I was gonna take another week off soon so I can get rid of it lol.

Picked this load up in Irvine ca this afternoon. Sent me to 3 different places for an mt trailer. Typical lol
Going to Spokane wa for a Friday appt. No time yet but said I be there at 8am

 

I hate the interior of the 16-17 Freightliners. The 18s aren't much better.
