Well, people have money, and I doubt many RV owners drag payments out for 10 years, most probably pay cash for them and won't have a million miles on them either. It's a system designed to implode, and with prices like this, it simply can't be far away. I paid $22g's for my 1st used truck in the 90's, I was happy to get an 18 month loan.

What intrest rate? Wonder if they would even finance that many months? I doubt it, but i haven't financed a new truck since 1982. Not gonna get a new one in this lifetime.

My 2002 F150 I bought brand new for $13,400 out the door. Still drives just fine. Rusted all to hell but I’m not too worried about it.

As far as the OP goes... probably need to put like 50k down and then do the rest on a 5 yr like any other truck. I’d say the days of looking cool are about over. The 65 mph speed limiter will be the nail in the coffin.

Boy howdy, got that right. Can you see this truck, capable of 3 digits, plodding along with all the company trucks? :biggrin_25513:Trucks like this always led the pack.

Exactly. Frankly it’ll be a disgrace not only to these trucks but the old hands that drove or still drive them.

My Dads old truck is a 1985 Pete 359 with a 6 and 4 and 3408 Cat. It was built to look like a much older truck which is really cool. Definitely a 3 digit truck with ease. I’d love to restore it one day and just say to hell with everybody.

So you dont put the 65 mph speed limiter on it. I seriously hope they don't actually get that through though.
