That’s not just any portable parking lot, it’s the gravy train... :headbang:

Yeah we also have a lot of aluminum decking. I'm on the light side. The high rails are about 44k. The new 80 footers have more aluminum and weigh about the same as mine with 5 foot more trailer.

Took my wife along for a trailer tour starting off in Hubbard to look at Reitnouers. Looked at both Big Bubba and Maximizers - nice trailers, but none on the lot really spec'd the way I want. Priced a little high IMO, but bolts aren't cheap, and they have a pile of them.

Next, stopped at Mac and looked at the trailer - it's a Mac - not much else I can add, and I really didn't have to look over it too much to know I'd be happy to drag it around the country.

Headed up the street to East where I spent the most time looking and asking questions. I think I was trying to convince myself that it was worth spending the extra for "my Mac", but I failed. I'm having a couple changes made and a few add-ons done while it's still at the factory, but I think I'll be happy with it? Even if I'm not, I'll keep my mouth shut and be appreciative that I won't have to do quite as much wrenching when I'm home.

I have a bad taste for Reits since a company I worked for had some when they used rivits. No Bueno hauling steel. They fell apart. Then a few months ago stopped to see a old pal at Double A trailers in Delphos, Ohio. He wasn't there but every used one on the lot had front hangers with new bolts and bolts replaced in rear structure. Mac and East have alot of similarities due to guys that worked for East started Mac. I do not think you can go wrong with either. I how ever do like the Fontaine all aluminum too. Just not sure on longevity. East does have (or had) a bunch of 11,12,13 BST 48' used on the lot with decent prices.
