Yes it would lol, guy built it to be different since most build Tri-5 Chevys and the such.

He has some cool stuff too lol.... I spotted a 50’s GMC in the background before he latched into the trailer.

 

I know a guy in town with a 66 Chevy truck that I been tryin to get for the longest time... has a healthy 468 an 4 speed in it already... looks dang near identical to this'n!

 

Did ya notice the kingpin was on the 5th wheel? I dont think I ever seen that before.

 

Ill take that AND that newer model up on top!

 

The only advantage in doing what you are doing is the experience. Your PreTrippin skills will become second to none. The variety of freight will be vast. And one day, if you decide to buy a truck and or trailer, you will know which kind you should buy and how to spec them.

Experience is a hard road to travel, regardless. When you see the guys posting in the heavy haul forum about buying trucks and trailers, you will know the ones who have traveled down hard roads vs the ones who are trying to avoid those tough roads.
Every time you swap trailers, you will have the potential for problems. Every time you have to work with new pilot cars. Every time you go to a new location. It’s tiring, hand. But because it’s not the easy route, the Path of Least Resistance, it’s gonna be tough. There’s money to be made at the end of any of those tough roads.

 

It's a bad deal for everyone involved, but I was commenting on the family since it was their child/brother. I can't imagine how they felt, the father and brother. Losing a child/sibling is bad enough, but that way?
