Where is everyone #5

Same here, I’ve slowly gotten to where I need 1.50 or 1.75 cheaters to read or weld or anything up close. Still got 20/15 each eye and 20/13 with both out yonders though lol.

 

Flatlanders...?? Well that counts me out

 

I’ll pull my glasses down low on my nose to look over the top of them, then lean in real close to see the weld joint, then nod my head to flip the helmet down and the helmet will whack the thing I’m welding and I’ll get arc flash. “Godammit!”

Or...I’m welding along looking over the top of my glasses and I’ll inadvertently move my head so now I’m looking through the distance portion of the lens and the weld gets all blurry. “#########!”
