For now i’m not sure if we can install a manual fan switch with that kind of fan. I will check and come back to you. Do you have the last eight of your serial number ?

I discussed with my technician If you want to try something you will have to install terminal PN 3948725 Volvo. In the cavity PA 19 and 12 volts fused Of the Vecu (big green connector). Also it’s possible you have to turn ON some parameter in Vecu for manual fan engagement. Parked and moving. Base on my own memory with a viscus fan like yours there a delay when you turn it On and also when you turn it Off with the manual fan switch.

NWAF, Smityukh123 and KB3MMX Thank this.

I have a new truck with the turbo compound engine and this is the only fan clutch they allowed, viscous variable.

I will also try the previous method and look in the parameters if it needs enabled similar to before.

If you guys get it working in the meantime please let us know..

    thank you!!

Yes you just enable and set the default on time. Mine is set to 60 seconds if you just toggle the switch on then off.

The viscous clutch required confirmation if it's the same method as we used before though

    Smityukh123 Thanks this.
