    Yessir its cause the paints got "Tooth" for lack of a better word. Its not smooth like gloss is. I mean, dont let that put ya off, I would go for it!

    Corned beef an taters. Ya outta grab a can and thank me later! Its really good for comin outta a can. Like Bob said, crisp it up and crack a few eggs in it and mix er all up.

    I always have loved that stuff ever since I was a kid. Always wanted to know what the "corned" part meant. Looked it up and found out that the English or Irish started curing beef with " corns " of salt. "Corns" of salt are small lumps like kernels ( of corn ) hence the name.
    It was a very good way of preserving the meat before refrigeration was invented.
    It's because the salt halts the growth of bacteria by removing moisture from the beef.
    It was popular way back when it was discovered but got even more popular during WWII because they could can it and not lose any to spoilage.
