Well mine has the Cummins red paint so I don’t know if yours will perform the same.

 

You can see the red block off plate we had in it originally, it’s moronic how little air it could flow from the factory.

 

There is a reason they didn’t use them on anything but the cm871’s. It’s a piss poor design

 

As well as it performed choked off I bet a good turner could really do wonders with more air flow.

 

We run the fuel pressure harness mod on there, level 3 usually. It’s good for up to 75 at the wheels and 200 ft lbs. just gotta figure which setting to run it on with the added air. He’s been at 7-7.5 mpg this summer.

Actually, to be precise it seems be the “Specialized Carriers and Riggers Exemption”......”it is advised that driver carry the 3 page letter......yadda yadda yadda”. FWIW I’ve not been asked either but it sounds like you had a keener so I was curious
