A fella has the right to defend himself with reasonable force until the threat ends. I think they're saying the threat ended.

 

In the original I saw they failed to mention she left the car running. And I might have missed about them chasing him down after he exited the car. We should be able to leave our keys in without worrying about it but we all know that's not realistic. I understand they should have left it to the police after he ran...but I'm ok with the results. If he wasn't a turd he wouldn't have nothing to worry about! The US is to easy on crime. That's why we're where we are..just my opinion...I could be wrong...
