Do not buy any electronics from Loves unless you are 110% you want it. They have a no refund policy; you can exchange it, but that's it. I learned the hard way with a Rand McNally TND 540 despite very clearly asking the lady behind the counter when I purchased it less than 30 days ago if I could return it if I was not happy with the device's performance or features and receiving a response in the affirmative.

You generally do not have refunds in electronics and computer parts etc. I bought a MSI Motherboard from Newegg and it's about a 200 dollar bet it will boot to post and then Bios for me to configure and proceed to install windows. The board was already dead. So the seller got his money and the board went into the trash.

Paid retail 550 for a replacement ASUS board. It worked out well. But dislike the idea that I spun 700 dollars to solve a problem in the beginning. Usually there is no refunds with this stuff.

Generally, sure. Which is why I specifically asked what the policy was only to be lied to or unintentionally given wrong information.

No. The board had gone out of production. I decided to gamble the money with that one.

However my new board was in between generations. The next build will have a way better board. (12 SATA, 128 Gig memory and so forth.)

I'll take a look see tonight, who knows what is out this year in the face of the pending end of support for Windows 7 that we use. And have used for a very long time. The other computer is approaching 13 years service on a gigabyte board that I purchased after I chose carefully for reliability. It's more than achieved it's mission objective.

windows 10 is also ending support, the old version was 1803..the new version is 1903 and took me about 3.5 hours from downloaidng to installing.

PITA, cuz i had to go back and change some of my settings all over again..why can't they just copy over and save all your settings.>???

Ya, the business editions get to freeze their “upgrades” ... and probably their settings too, lol ... but others aren’t so lucky I see.

    I am so glad I stepped away from PCs about 10 years ago and ventured into MacLand... it’s not for everyone but I surely have never looked back. {your mileage may vary}

I tried to do the same thing with my rand. After 2 weeks.

Traded it in for what was known as pcmiler at the time. And the rest was credit.
Pcmiler was $150 vs. $450 for rand. And that's what got me started on copilot.
I found out pcmiler was basically copilot. Pcmiler doesn't exist anymore.

Most places have very restrictive limitations on how the device can be returned. If the package has been opened at all, most won't take electronice back.

PC Miler and CoPilot are both programs written by ALK Technologies. ALK got bought by Trimble who also bought PeopleNet.

Trimble owns > ALK Technologies, who makes > PC Miler for fleets, which has a driver nav program called > CoPilot

Links to the confusing microcosm of CoPilot:
For Fleets: PC Miler Fleet Software
For Windows single driver navigation: CoPilot Truck for Windows
For Android single driver navigation: CoPilot Truck for Android
For iOS single driver navigation: CoPilot Truck for iOS
