    I spent 3 plus hours on roads today that according to my Garmin don't exist.
    Several times a week I spend hours on roads, that according to it don't exist.
    Trusting a GPS is a recipe for disaster.

    I didn't have problems trusting my copilot gps. Set the parameters and she worked like a champ.
    Used it my whole 7 years otr.

    Like one of the above posters. My atlas seldom got used. And when it did. It was basically for 411 info. Not mapping.

    What is it you want the device to do? Here are the most common things:

    * track the truck in real time (see trucks on the web)
    * track trailers (battery powered)
    * driver assessments (swerves, speeding, hard braking, etc)
    * driver navigation (GPS nav built in for the driver)
    * IFTA state fuel miles tracking
    * load dispatching (send load info to and from the driver)
    * camera recording (live view through cellular or historical camera recording device built in)
    * get truck engine info (error codes, maintenance warnings, early detection before breakdowns, etc.)
    * electronic logs

    These days there are a ton of features when you ask about those companies. So the first thing to get straight is WHAT it is you are looking for. Then folks here can maybe give you some more accurate opinions. Hope that helps.

    ZVar Thanks this.
