I regained my CDL through Knight's school.I was twice as old as most of the other students.I paid for the schooling with 1 check. I drove the truck they gave me. I #### and did my job. They paid me what they said they would. I left after a year and a few months with a 2 week notice. They send me invitations to come back, I politely decline.
Questions, comments, suggestions? Bring them!Need4Speed, Veryblessed and Lonesome Thank this. -

I used to work for Knight and I only make $850 a week for working 60+ hours on duty and countless hours off duty. I have pay statement to prove it. There you go.
Veryblessed Thanks this. -
Knight shorted me pay several times. So I had to park the truck at terminal and delay the delivery until they cut me the check. There you go. And I have pay statement and Zonar messages to prove it.
And these guys don’t pay detention. Pretty sad working there.Last edited: Dec 17, 2018

In theory they are going to get better now that they are using workhound.
I can stay out 6 weeks at a time and never see a check break $700. And that’s with wide opening running. I don’t have any restrictions on where I “won’t run” and I take any and every load they give me. I get my loads where they need to be and when they need to be there.
Their equipment is also subpar and (as with a lot of places in this industry) drivers won’t report maintenance issues on trailers because breakdown takes so #### long. So the trailers are junky. They have an “average” truck age of 2 years in their fleet. But the reality is that they milk those old trucks for every last single mile they can. Even if that means you’re in the shop every two weeks. And then getting your breakdown pay is like pulling teeth. And you don’t get that until you get dispatched on your next load.Need4Speed Thanks this. -
My 1 year old daughter has broken no laws, and by definition she is a person located within the continental US.Lonesome and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -

Once again. Work at megas to get experience or CDL then move on as soon as you can. Don’t make a career with a mega.
