@Grubby this was my first car. It was no Camaro hot rod but it was fun

I was cursed with the lack of horsepower. Seriously, the smog era sucked. Deeply. Constantly.

What can I say, was young and dumb and drank the Charbroiler Koolaid

 

My dad RIP was a life long Ford guy, he had a 78 Cobra II we put a couple turbo muffs and H pipe on it. I was a horrible car through and through, it was perhaps why I have never even considered another Ford.

Didn’t mopar stop dominating shortly after NASCAR changed the rules to ban the hemi and slow the Mopars down so the others could catch up? I guess they had to do something because it was pretty embarrassing.

I suppose lots of guys, being front runners, would’ve started drinking the big two kool aid
