A friend of mine went all in taking care of a Hotdog cart for a living with children on the way.
He almost got laughed out of the place.
Straightforward to the end of Summer he has managed to clear about 5000 plus dollars.
No one is laughing now. The biggest challenge is to hitch the personal vehicle on the back with sufficient beef to take his hotdog stand/Trailer out to he job site.
He has since sold his business, but about 20 years ago a good friend of mine bought one hot dog cart, and then kept expanding, and soon had nine of them around Kelowna. He did very well and made darn good money, he paid the operators a percentage of their cart sales. About 5 years ago he sold out to someone who made him just too good of an offer to refuse.
He now has a food truck, and catering company, last year after all costs he cleared over $200,000. There is a lot of money in food, and everyone has to eat.
