My former Boss always told people: "Don't call me Sir, I work for a living!"

Hardly, But thank you. I pulled the flat this am. But hooked up hopper this afternoon. Per @wore out instructions I only took 3 foot chain with one hook on this job.

First time I went to our customer in Amesbury, MA I called him 'sir'.... He looked at me and goes 'Jesus, really?'..... 'Well, how would you prefer to be addressed?'..... 'Dick Head.'.... And now, when I get that run its like that scene from Grumpy Old Men: 'Mornin' Dick head!'

20190715_155207.jpg Thought I worked today, just watch the kicker shoot 3 out and poor guy had to stop and pick them up work by himself.

Exactly!! I've said that a time or 20.
We had a customer that was straight outta Grumpy Old Men also. Would show up to set up a crane and start right in yelling and cussing each other. He would start with 'bout time you forking showed up!! Must be nice to work bankers hours!! Even though I was always early.. and I'd give back "well there's no forking use in being on time it's not like you lazy forks are gonna have the site ready!" And it would just go on from there. Contractors would always think we were on the verge of throwing fists. That old dude was my favorite customer! I never heard of one of his guys ever whining and they worked their arse off for that guy! I think he was from out @OLDSKOOLERnWV 's way. No Sissy's allowed.

From the pic it looks like it might be time to empty the wagon.
