Double Brokered loads at Landstar

One Landstar Driver I know told Me 60 % a few months ago, said it’s gone way up recently. I see the load boards full of Landstar, Coyote and TQL. Obviously pushing double Brokers Loads.Last Load I got from Landstar paid Me $50.00 less than a Landstar Truck. Broker thought I was a Landstar Driver, Lol. I told him I’d always heard they paid Carriers more, according to their Drivers.Considering they get 72% of 95% or whatever it is, I did make more. It was a good load.

 

All those brokers get a piece of the action and the actual driver just gets the work.

 

I can not remember the last time I did a Landstar Load. Only a few of them treat you fair IMO

 

it's all doubles now, they hired 4 000 ppl in Ukraine to dispatch it...

 

Landstar is garbage now, those foreign brokers and the new CEO has ran this company into the ground. It ain't nothing like it used to be.

 

I’m pretty sure no one knows exactly what percentage.....

 

Working for Landstar may not be so great. Owning Landstar is pretty good though.
