well lets see, the past week went like this for me.
missoula to great falls to pick up, take it to sacramento, from sacramento out to phnx, from phnx to la, from la to vegas, from vegas to slc, from slc to fort collins, where im sitting now but heading out tm....
may not be 3,000 miles but close to it and im not sitting, and i am not turning down the loads, and often hear " thanks for doing this for me, you no how some drivers are ", <~~ coming from the disp.![]()

work?
... you mean, driving this truck is work?? man! all this time i thought I was using them for my expedition of america.. darn it!!!
haha, just got my next load to helena, well, 2 hours ago i got it,
but sadly ill have to set the brakes when i get there, need a reset and then i need a load back home, 57 days out on the road now, need to get back home for a few days and take care of a few things,
well, not 57 straight through, took 4 days off in missoula, but 57 days away from my real home back east, and thats 57 days by my choice, not cause they keep me out,
im 23 no kids not married, and still live at home, so no real reason to be there when i can be out here..and there, and everywhere in between. -
And move out west ??
57 days ? You sound like me....a couple of years ago. When you hit 6 months without hometime. Let me know. -
61 days out now, and need to be home by the end of the week... not looking good tho,
,
may end up flying home... i hope disp can pull through for me on this, iv never asked to be sent to any one area before, i just go where they send me every time with a, and sometimes even a
but still go.
id like to stay out for that long, shall see what i can do. -
Well since I lasted posted on here things have picked up, instead of 34+ hour resets every 3 days I'm only getting them when I actually almost need one.I have spent 2 weeks west and 2 weeks east now.I don't know if them finally sending me east made a difference?
OH, and for you people thinking I'm turning down loads, that's just not the case, I have never turned down any in the 6 months I been here.I have taken some really short loads without complaint such as Missoula to Helena and the usual Modesto(my home terminal) to Santa fe springs.
I have been out east here now for about 2 weeks, took them 6 months of me asking to come out here, So I am actually enjoying this time out seeing this part of the country for the first and probably last time.
Anyway I really wasn't trying to bad mouth W/S on here, I was just giving my 6 month insight and stating my bad experiences and frustrations with being broke all the time cause I still have bills/car payments/rent to pay back home.
I will stay here until it slows down again and then move on to something else.
good luck to all you other W/S drivers.

Sounds like things haven't changed much at W/S.

day 66 now, figured it out, its been 66 whole days since the last time i was at home, and have had a blast the whole time, im finaly back on some home turff, but doing a C&D up to conn. where im at now, then im home bound.... got over 3,000 miles this week, seems to be the av from what iv been hearing from other drivers,
but they are also 35 drivers short on the east coast right now, so looks like i might get stuck out here for a while, so some of you guys need to work your way out here!!!!!! j.k -
