I’d ask the locals I see at small Truckstops down there. Pretty good deal I’m told. Home every night

My company is contracted with all the local ready mix companies! Work is cake and end dumps seem to get priority because we haul there washout. Sweet gig and the money has been mind blowing since the season started. Work 6 days a week getting 4 sand and 3 washout loads a day. I am hoping to have me own truck by next season.

You mainly going from north shore to the south shore dumping down there?

The round trip is about 30 miles each way. I do 4 sand from the gravel pit to the concrete company, then i pick up there sloppy washed out concrete and haul it to the dump! then do that circle 4 times a day. Good money man the truck is making around $6700 a week since the season began.

I have a relative that’s working at a pit in franklinton, a neighbor that pulls a end dump and discourages it every time I ask him how it’s going. I just would like to get away from what I’m doing now to start up a small gig, 1-2 trucks starting off. I guess it’s just call around to the concrete places and see what to do?!

Thats all I want to do too man! Getting a day cab truck with a end dump trailer doesnt require that much money too start up either! Just start with one truck and land a contract with a ready mix company and go from there ! Hooking up the hydraulic pump with the resevior too life the trailer is the one cost i havent figured out
