The definition of irony: Saying a certain group of truck are unprofessional and don’t follow rules, all the while not even knowing simple parts of a braking system and avoiding it altogether by buying your own trailer and being ignorant of the rules.

There's a carrier that's pulling trailers from the same place we load that thinks trailer brakes are the only kind. Too cheap to just step on the pedal and wear out their shoes, they pull the Johnny bar and put the whoa to it.
Lots of flat spotted tires down there. -
I’ve got the opposite problem, there’s about a 10 second delay on my engine brake and no trolley valve (thanks so much International) so I get to use the tractor brakes a lot. I put 500k on a set on my old truck, this truck has 260k and the same amount of wear. I’ve put 25k on it since I got it in May.
