I also would like to hear about their training / school if anyone has been through it.

 

Their "school" is not a registered or certified school. The trainer I had celebrated his first anniversary of having a CDL while I was in his truck. He spent most of the time talking to his family and friends in the phone, or looking for a new pickup truck on Facebook marketplace. His idea of training was to tell you that you're doing it wrong, but never telling you how to do it right. I was told that if you don't see any workers in a construction zone, you don't have to follow the work zone speed limits. He preferred to urinate in customers parking lots even when clean restrooms were available for the driver. When he said "you have to listen to what I tell you" I replied "how about training me instead of being on your phone" and "nice training there" so I was dropped at the house. The next trainer they wanted to send me with was to work as a team driver, but make $400 a week. I said no thanks. The training to actually get your CDL was good, but other than that it was an all over horrible experience. Out of our"class" only one person continued with the company longer than a month after class. He said he's making $500-$600 a week, but he rarely gets home.
