Loves in Texhoma, TX. Will be getting up early to finish a two stop load in Albuquerque tomorrow. My last load with Swift transportation.

 

Las Vegas at the Petro.
Delivered that load 2 days early .
Pick up another one at 1400 tomorrow going tolleson az b4 0430 on the 16th

 

At home near Phoenix. Dropped the truck off at Inland KW, 3 days without AC was 3 days too many!

Doubt it,I was number 2 out 10,I wasnt only one they had been writing up for crazy things last few weeks but I was the only one who walked.
How are things at Swift?I actually drove for Swift back in the 90s and enjoyed it,started out OTR with them then went on dedicated for Crown,Cork and Seal pulling 57 footers.Been working oil field for last 17 years,was going to go back OTR last summer and called Swift but was told I would have to train for 4 weeks,couldnt bring myself to do it for 4 weeks.

 

I've been at Swift for over 8 years. I have no complaints.
But I have been very lucky with my driver managers I think, and that makes a huge difference.

 

Pheonix terminal.
Went to deliver that Costco load and they refused since no trailer number on bol. Everything else matched. Didn't look for it when I picked it up since I have the shipper the number and assumed they put it there .
Ended up tcalling it here last nite.
Got another load that picks up next door at 1330 today and delivers in.victorville ca at 2200 tonite.
Had a load b4 this one that picked up at that Costco that was going ro.las Vegas nv for a 1700 appt tomorrow.
Would have got a reset in if I kept that one but have some decent hours on recaps. So decided to keep going instead of sitting in this heat all day.
Truck has been pretty much been running nonstop last couple of days

 

Still @ home. Took Inland 3 days to repair the AC in my truck. Picked it up earlier today, headed for Albuquerque tomorrow with a Costco load that delivers Saturday morning.

 

After delivering that winco load in Victorville. Ca got a load the next morning picking up at walmart next to jurupa terminal going to w almart dc in Hermiston or. Fuel route was 15nto 93n to 84w. Swift has always sent me 5n to o7 n to 84e b4.
Ended up going 15n to 395n to 6e to 360 to 95n to 84w.
Sitting here at the pilot down the street from the dc with no load offerings yet.
One swift drive says he has been here since yesterday

 

I'm always changing my routing, it seems.
Swift routing can be wonky at times. Although, sometimes Swift sends a better route than my RM GPS gives me.
