I wouldn’t mention it if I was you. If it isn’t on your MVR dating back 7 years then don’t mention. They only go back 7 years. Never volunteer information if it is not asked. As for your buddy something doesn’t sound right with that story. There had to be a reason why it was revoked maybe due to a charge or an arrest or something that came up in the background check. I dunno. Just my opinion driver. I’ve had speeding tickets as well. We all have but that doesn’t mean you have to mention every single one you have gotten in your lifetime. If it is not on your MVR then don’t put on your app or say anything. You can go to DMV and get a copy of your MVR for like $10 going back 5, 7, and 10 years if I’m not mistaken.

@Kstrong86 how you looking on miles this week.
Matt1924 Thanks this. -
I’m a team driver I do 2,916 miles per week. Hopefully when the bids come out next month we can get something longer but it’s good either way. I was solo linehaul but being fairly new here myself and on extra board not getting any miles was killing me so I signed up for teams and I’m getting miles. Every now and then I’ll hit 3200 miles. But I get 2,916 every week.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this.

As a team yall work Tuesday to Saturday or Monday thru Friday.
-
My run is specifically Tuesday through Saturday. It’s not bad though. Get Sunday and Mondays off. I like having Monday’s off. Gives me a weekday off to run errands or schedule doctors appointments rather than take a day off or use a vacation day or sick day to cover that day ya know. All the other teams work Mon-Friday.

Does AAA has a terminal in Illinois.
Kstrong86 Thanks this. -
About their driver facing cameras. Do they record audio as well? What if I’m on my headset with my brother and we’re telling dirty jokes that would probably offend some people. Is that gonna be a problem?
Texas_hwy_287 and Kstrong86 Thank this. -
Sorry for the late response. Yes we have two terminals that I know of. That’s my lane from Orlando. We have one in Chicago and one in Oswego. The one in Chicago could definitely use a team and definitely could make some decent money but I guess drivers don’t like driving up there I don’t know. That’s why me and partner had to take over from Orlando to run their freight now. We get all the miles lol.Texas_hwy_287 and Matt1924 Thank this.

I’m pretty sure they have audio recording but I do not know when. Probably only when an event occurs. And if they are listening in like that and they get offended then oh well. It’s a private conversation so no it will not be a problem. I curse and yell and scream at four wheelers all the time me and my dad y’all all the time and make jokes about people and me and my wife talk all the time and not once have I been brought in about language or conversation on my phone. If it offends them either get rid of the audio recording or don’t listen. I don’t pay attention the camera or audio recording. I drive my truck and handle my business. I don’t have the phone in my hand or do any illegal stuff so I don’t even notice that the camera is there so it doesn’t bother me. The reason why people say they will never work for a company with a camera facing them is because they are the drivers you see on the road with the phone in their hands. Just my opinion. But other than that brother y’all and joke away.Texas_hwy_287 and Matt1924 Thank this.
