I have a 2014 ProStar with the maxxforce 13 and the factory max power AC and heater system in the bunk.
What I'm trying to find out is if there is a way to get the no idle bunk air conditioning system to run while the engine is idling?.
I realize there is some sort of an electronic shutout system to prevent this, but I can't seem to find schematics that would allow me to bypass that.
The reason for asking the question is I have had two Associates and now myself who have been in a situation where the main air conditioning compressor has failed and we are unable to get it repaired for several days.
Short belting the truck of course lets you keep driving, but if there were a way to get the bunk AC to run it would make it a lot more tolerable in the heat.
Hoping Heavy D or somebody else has some input.
    Thanks in advance

There is usually a trigger wire going to the APU computer. It is hooked up to recognize if the ignition is on or off. By disconnecting it, you will be able to run this.

Are you talking about an apu or what. My trucks are older, but every truck I have ever owned, the bunk air ran off the same compressor as the cab air.
