    I had good luck with G399A( 120-125k m) and XZA3(180-190k m). Now I want to try BFGoodrich ST230. People say it goes 120k m..

I have run BF goodrich exclusively since 2000 or 2001, no need or wish to change now. Iirc they are made by michelin. I just bought a set of uniroyal drives, dealer claimed thay are made by michelin now too. I tend to belive it because a michelin was the only tire you could always mount and air up without any assistance from either or a beadblaster, etc. The uniroyals aired up just like michelins always did.

R283 is a great tire but never comes close to the lifespan of X line energy Z Michelin.

220k miles on the last set of X line energy Z steers and they still had about 20% left

Socal Xpress and bzinger Thank this.

That is the exact reason I will not buy another set of the 283a's again. I still use the 710m drives.

Bridgestone makes a few decent drive tires, but I have always hated their steer tires.

    Socal Xpress Thanks this.

B.f g.r. st244 always wore well for me, but now trying the general RA 16 ply 120 psi on sidewall. So far 80,000 wearing perfect.
