Alright im pretty new and I am having a hard time understanding how much I can haul. I have read thousands of post on here. Some make sense and others confuse me even more. since this was the newest thread about weight that I could find I figure I should ask here first. My truck has the door sticker of GVWR at 10k. The GAWR ( F 5750) and (R 6000). The GCWR of 25,300. The truck weighed in at 7,300. My trailer has a GVWR of 30,000 with dual 15,000 axles and weighed in at 11,000. Does this mean I can haul up to 23,450 or am I completely confused? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Help me understand some weight numbers?

40,000 - tare weight of 18,300lbs
21,700lbs on the deck.
Legally though, its 21,000lbs. 30k GVWR trailer - trailers tare of 11klbs. Dont exceed coupler or hitch ratings also..
You'll be a wreck waiting to happen though. With the drive axle maxed out at only 6k. Single rear wheels are not good for hotshot over 26k gross IMHO..
The drive will be close to max weight with just the empty trailer, let alone any freight up there. Traction will suffer when roads are slick. One panic stop, & jackknife.. Get yourself a dually, or better yet a 4500 for weight like that..npok, Boost2insanity and 24kHotshot Thank this. -

You can't see from the picture.
The only way to get all three on was to back the the first truck on because of the clearance on the rear of the truck to the axle as opposed to the clearance on the front.
Look at the rear truck and imagine it on the front same way. It would have pushed the rest of the load back two feet. If I had backed the middle car on first I would had even less room.24kHotshot and singlescrewshaker Thank this. -
