Me and my family shop at WM... Doesnt mean we like it... Just means it fits in the budget better. But we make a point to go to the local mom and pops stores for all the random 1 or 2 item trips town... "Shopping Day" however is Costco followed by WM

Thats fine and dandy if you live someplace that has something besides WM within a 50 mile radius... But I prefer living in the sticks.truckdriver31 and Trucker61016 Thank this.

Walmart's customer service sucks for the most part..so does Sam's...the attitude by many workers is a problem...
foggy and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
I mean Amazon for a long time offered buying different guitar brands. Walmart just recently started doing the same. So imo Walmart is getting more and more behind.

Kind of like Pilot truck stops... Everyone claims to hate them and leave negative reviews about them but yet, packed in the parking lot like sardines all day long... The mom & pop truck stop across the street is practically empty LOLdrvrtech77, foggy and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

A lot of that is due to companies using PFJ as their preferred fuel stop, which means the driver likely has reward points to spend and shower credits to use. Independent across the street, you need to buy fuel then park and go inside carrying your shower bag (so the fuel thief eyeballing the lot knows you have full tanks and will be gone for 30-45 minutes).
As someone who buys my own fuel and showers at home or in a hotel room, I'll fuel at the independedt every time. It's a VERY RARE day when I buy fuel at any of the big chains.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
E commerce grew in sales and size but they are still taking losses. Have not gotten a grip on expenses yet and part of e commerce is labor intensive...like the "we shop and deliver it to your home or car" deal. It will pick up but may take time.FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

Bezos himself has pointed out that even Amazon can fall apart. He believes one day the company will come to end. It's one of his demons.
If Amazon is doing the same thing Walmart did to businesses. What's the difference here? Nothing.
