Yes, I drive for Millis. Ain’t arse kissin’.
I don’t know how you could do better unless you’re into specialized freight, over sized and that. Maybe it’s because Millis is still family owned. I’m laying over at corporate now in Black River Falls, WI. Had a 35k service on my truck yesterday but just wanted to take an extra day,,,, dispatch was cool with that.
Had lunch with my dispatcher yesterday, my recruiter and I play Scrabble online, my payroll lady and I always jabbing one another. I don’t have family anymore but Millis has filled that gap. Of course there’s stuff that pisses me off but take it in stride. I strongly considered Rhoel and Crete,,, too big.. We run 800 to 850 trucks my last count. My truck will do 70 as long as I’m a safe driver.
This ain’t a sales pitch. I just hear so much negativity on trucking company’s anymore. Think about Millis. Hit me up with questions if ya wanna. BTW, I ain’t a newbie, started in. ‘72 White Freightliner, 318 DD with 13.

I've been with them for a year and a half now and my experience has also mostly been positive. Of course there is always that one guy that'll be like "There's no miles!" and some.othrt guy that will be like "Ewww don't they have automatics?" and all that nonsense but whatever. This is my second try at trucking. The first time, back in the 90s, didn't go so well and ai not think that, in part, was due to a poor choice of companies for me to start with. I did my homework this time and a year and a half later I still believe my choice to start with Millis was the correct one.

I posted this in Steelersjunkie's thread also, but even though i have a little over a year before i can leave, im going to Millis. Based on what SJ and Keen and others have said, i dont think i can beat it. @Gremlin304 this will be my second go in the industry also, i hope my experience is the same as your.
