is it still worth getting your own authority these days in the dying industry ?

    If someone builds a company like that they sure ought to delegate but they better hang around and manage the managers too. I worked at a 150 truck company years ago and the owner was there in the office every day.

    That somebody who built up that fleet probably really enjoys what he does. That's all the reason he needs to keep coming in everyday.

    The point is he doesn’t have to. Not that he wouldn’t or shouldn’t.

    The idea of him having 150 trucks causing a heart attack because of the “stress”. People don’t build something like that without looking out for themselves. Don’t miss the point.
