The difference is Joe Schmo the consumer isn’t directly producing said emissions. It only happens behind the scenes where nobody can see, so all is well.

While you “eco-warriors” are hammering out a new world order some of us lowly company drivers were hauling freight and moving fast* (*disclaimer- fast is a relativistic term when in a co. truck).

I left Wheat Ridge, Colorado this morning, up and over Vail Pass and took my 30 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Stopped and used my bottle to relieve an urgent pressure on my bladder near Richfield, Utah (3 minute stop) and then went hammer down to the Pilot in Saint George, Utah. I finished with 17 minutes left on my 11 and 2hr and 40min left on my 14. Total mileage 634.4 miles. In a truck that is speed limited to 66mph. My top speed with gravity assist was 72mph (company limit).

This ain’t no @Cattleman84 number with ag assist and truck that probably goes 80mph in 8th... but still...I’m pretty happy with my performance.

The OM spent 3 hours and 41 minutes, little over 200 miles today determined to find a spot to lay on me, beside me, or the steering column.

    It was a valiant effort.

In the end she settled for the passenger seat.

I only run 68 to 70 most days, but even with my co truck limited to 75, I like to be able to step out and hammer down at times to get around someone when needed. I dont think I could work for a co that has their trucks limited to 65.

Hey... I read some of that exchange... Was surprised to see the outcome of it.. I think you are a very nice and friendly and fun person... And your humor is fine too IMO... Was sad to see the rude reaction of some folks over there.... that could not play along in a friendly way.... :biggrin_1square1:
The way you wrote here... I almost thought that was a "farewell" to the whole forum... :biggrin_2557: But glad to see you are still around... :yes2557:
Hey... feel free to visit that "Where Are You Again..." thread.. Your postings and jokes are well taken over there... And over there, nobody needs to be a long time owner operator, expert in mechanics, doesn't need to know how to build and rebuild an engine or the entire truck, doesn't need to hate... or love megas, or hate Peoplenet, or ELDs, or drive a long nose Peterbilt and be an "outlaw"... none of that BS.... :biggrin_25512: We are ALL drivers... road lovers... and some not even that... just people wanting to socialize and exchange experiences, ideas, information, vent and spend some good time online... :biggrin_25519:
As we know, this is not our site, it doesn't belong to any of us no matter how many years we have been members.... and as long as we respect the rules here, and respect others, we are free to post wherever we want.... IMO :biggrin_25519:

Lets just say that my opinion of more than a few people changed over the last few days.
