That was my job too.

My reward was watching the Charlie Brown holiday specials. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas

 

Actually are road got it in 1983ish. Guy that owned the cable local cable company build a new house on the road and ran cable to his house and out another 4 miles. Still had to go change the channel with the knob for dad before having a remote. Then one of us boys lost the knob and the RCA had vise grips on it for years. I didn't make this up.

 

Sad but true

@Westbound23 . Let me ask another question. Does your carrier AC unit cool your house. Are you satisfied with it's performance? Basics for AC is 400 to 600sqft per ton.
1600sqft takes a 4ton unit. And that's depending on ducts and insulation and construction of house. That's a house we built a few years ago.


I just looked at a new unit they are getting down to 2.5ton wow talk about improvements in tech.
I may need to upgrade the unit already.
