I just dont understand when they read how happy people are at jct why do they come here and bash people for going there and being a lease operator, if the people want to go there and jct has a good record then let it be, quit coming here and bashing,, do your own thing and let others be, as in treat others as you would have them treat you, not do unto others and run. there is my 2 cents.

I will admit that right now I'm having a hard time putting food on the table. But I just started paying for a house I'm moving into ($1000/month) and still paying for the house I'm moving out of ($700/month) I've also been taking extra time off. (trying to get as much time as I can with my mom before she dies) I'm taking over a week off starting Monday because my kids are coming up from Kalifornia to see their grandma one last time. Now, if I can afford ALL of that, I don't think I'm doing all that bad. Once the sale of my old house is final, I'll be solvent again. It would probably be easier in some ways to walk away from the lease right now, but I don't think I can make enough anywhere else to survive this hit. And I know with the money I'm making, I will be back on easy street within a couple of months. I did the math before I started with JCT. I just hadn't expected my personal life to have so many things go so bad in such a short time. My truck payment is $559 per week, and I have a sidenote of $101 per week. I'm still making it.The important thing, and I can't stress it enough, this is NOT for everyone! It takes a LOT of work to make it work. But, in my opinion, it's worth every moment of it.

I run this wind blocker 62-64 mph, and have not been late for a delivery yet. I got into Oregon, and set the cruise on 58-12th gear with 78,980 on and just cruise along. Got to enjoy a lot of the scenery

LMB,
You are could not have said it better. Even at your age, you can still have fun and make money.
After hearing a bunch a of members complain about lease purchase options, I did my research and found that no company offers what JCT offers; A walk away lease that you can write off. The only exception is a company based outta Texas and they pay lower than JCT.

Especially at my age

I hope in the end you keep the truck LMB, but do not blame you if you do not keep it. Do you plan on adding the pittsburg power box?

I aam glad ur able to get a deal with the dealer you are with. Reality is most drivers out there don't have the credit and don't have 5000 dollars stashed somewhere. Plus with the economy like it is now its not the best time to buy your own truck. I know the 700 sounds high but hey they got the miles to keep you running and able to make a living after paying the truck payment. I've seen way too many o/o out at truck stops complaining that they can't find a load and have been sitting there for three or four days. It never happens with us.
Plus for 700 we are getting brand new trucks and with warranty on it not a POS that you gotta worry when the next time its gonna break down. Also if you get your own truck in your case a 200 dollar a week truck probably a pretty old truck with high miles. You'd be lucky to find a company to let you lease on to.
From my opinion JCT is far from a scam. If you go out and find the same truck on the market you'd probably be paying the same amount if not more or not even get approved with bad credit. So I have put my two sense into this and hope that you all that read that dobt get discouraged cuz of the on sided opinion he has put out.walkinboss and chcrow Thank this. -
well alan chcrow just got his trk and it break down but that prolly rare that happen he even said he had to give his first load up bc of it i hope that dont happen to me
