Since when fried food became great? Most mom and pop places offer same food variety . Pretty much you stuck with same fast-food cause in most places it's limited to McDonald's, bk, Subway and only few others. Of course the is few interesting restaurants here in thier but it's uncommon

Next month is my one year with a mega. I do most of my restarts on the road and I only have cell phone as far as bills. I have taken several days in a row off a few times, other than that I usually drive 6 days a week.
I have saved about $11000 and also bought a car for $4000 including ttl and 6 months of insurance. I just paid for a vacation that I will be taking at the end of next month as well.MartinFromBC and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
How do you get the thing to work solely as a freezer? I'd like to get a big freezer so I can do food prep like that too.

I turn the small fridge thermostat to as cold as it can get. It keeps the food right at freezing. The only time I open it is at the beginning of the day. Put what we are eating for lunch in the hot logic and plug it in. It is ready to eat when we go on break. Dinner I put in the fridge. After lunch throw in dinner in the hot logic and it is ready when it is dinner time.

Nice. Do you guys have issues with blowing your inverter? -
Not going home shouldn't even be part of the equation.
There are tons of regional jobs that have the same miles and your home for 34. Every weekend.
Think of the money saved doing laundry at home. Grocery shopping at Walmart.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
The only time I have blown the inverter was when I had the two fridges, microwave, coffeemaker, and the george foreman grill all running at once. (I unplugged the grill and reset the inverter and was good to go) If I am running my coffeemaker I don't run the grill till it is complete, or vice versa. Otherwise no problem.

I have a truck specific fridge (12 volt Dometic) that i installed myself... Bout $500. I bought a portable grill at Wal-Mart and i go to Wal-Mart on friday or sat, get all my meals for the week and cook em up in the back row of the truck stop. Put it all into zip lock bags. I get steak, pork chops, hamburger patties. I spend less than$100 per week and eat better than the truck stop. I figuered a steak, bowl of mashed potatoes, maybe salad costs about $8-10
FlaSwampRat Thanks this.
