A long time ago, I bought a Mazda 626. It was used and had 32,000 miles on it. I checked it over as best as I could. (I'm a backyard mechanic) My ex-wife insisted we have it checked, so we took it and had it inspected by a Mazda dealer. After spending a couple of days making sure everything on the car was perfect (including detailed maintenance records) we bought the car. The day we drove it off the lot, we made it 5 miles down the road and the engine turned loose. Yes, it was warranty. But it took more than a week to get the car back. With a brand new engine. My point? They are mechanical and things WILL go wrong. It doesn't matter how well maintained they are, or how new they are. Trucks break down. Is there anyone on the planet that can guarantee nothing will happen? Not one person can.

Hang in there Grizzlyman, you'll make it thru what you're going thru. And you'll be a stronger person after it's all over. Sounds to me like you're with the right company. If you worked anywhere else, you probably would have lost the truck by now.

Are the JCT trucks speed limited at all?
-
WOW not bad at all. Was it new when you got it? We had a wrecked prostar in our yard for a couple weeks, man i have to tell you those things have very little storage. I have never been in a T600 what is the storage like in those? I hear how small they are but i dont know myself.

u do have a point grizzly things do break down and yes t600 are small to well maybe the 387 will be ready when i get there oh well it there not

What's the deal with the used trucks are they still under any warranty? Would hate to take out a 2-3 year old truck for the motor to blow first week I have it and JCT to hand me a bill for $20k.
-
I would love to have a 387 I currently have a 387 and I get 6.8 avg running 63 mph grossing 78-79k and it has a ton of room in it. Just my lease where I'm at my fixed cost are $1,193.00 a week. I came here to get experience because I had been out of trucking for many years, the lease here was not a good idea. JCT will be $245.00 less a week and that doesn't include all the variable cost JCT pays for that I don't get paid here such as Reefer, Road tax, Fuel Tax, Tolls, Scaling, Prepass etc.
