The one you posted was a Fitzgerald glider. It was on there website.
1993-1994 westernstar introduced a new cab. Not sure if every model got it the same year but it was a new cab and dash. Wider, taller.
Here is a 1993, I tried to find one you could see the different profile in the door. Now I can't recall but that old WS cab was built originally by someone else. Maybe someone can help us on that.

Look close at door profile, size and width of cab.

If anyone is from Ohio you may know or have saw the Western star I was referring to pulling tanker. Its blue with a white strip along the sides. It's like a day cab with an older bunk added but it's not a unibilt. It all looks original. The truck is kept perfect shape, and shines. I may have the company name wrong. I saw it on Ohio 32 the Appalachian highway. At a Marathon fuelling up its tanks. It was an older fella driving with white short hair and he smoked a pipe.

Weighs heavier than a short bunk Pete?

Think your right, I just couldn't remember. -
Here's Ur Fotown update for the day
Don't be concerned with the Stripes not lining up tween the Hood n Cab, been advised that the Truck isn't Aired up -
Pete is aluminum. Now the WS cab is steel, doors are steel and the glass hood is heavy. Cab is huge compared to a narrow pete cab. They are expensive hoods. But the frame and drivetrain is Freightliner. I hear they have a light weight package. I was quoted 90k for a cab, small bunk and steer axle. Didn't look further. However they will drill the frame for all my parts from my classic to bolt in.cke, exhausted379, BigCam9670 and 11 others Thank this.
