If somebody gave you a price of $2,000 to replace those rear bushings that's outrageous. Even if it includes replacing the torque arms, that's still outrageous.
They should charge you maybe 200 to 250 per bushing.
They are not hard to do at all yourself even if you have a torch.
Maybe I'm assuming, but you have a Freightliner with the regular airliner suspension, right? -
Yes but the issue is everyone around me is hourly charge so they take their time.
I run away from mechanics that say I have to see once I tear it down.
Reason why I’m looking for one that can do a alive adjustment, last one quoted me $1400. If you know anyone out south west LA Phoenix area that is trustworthy?Last edited: Jul 22, 2019

I have a couple here in Phoenix, but they are at least a week out.

Before learning how to replace shocks, I thought one needed to jack up the truck. It came as a surprise to me once I watched a YouTube video.

That's the nice difference between cars and these big buggers, you don't need the jack as oftenPE_T Thanks this. -
Those are Loves Brand tires. I’ve had very good luck with them,(2 only) steers ran on trailer.

If you get near Glendale Ky, The Goodyear Shop at Pilot 1-65 exit 86. They did mine, I bought the parts. Very reasonable, they have the proper air tool, made for the job. Ask for William, Great Guy!!!LoneRanger Thanks this.

I had that...front end was said to be good but the driver complained he was always pushing on one side of the wheel to go straight down the road.
Had the rears aligned = happy driver. shop replaced the differential torque arms and re-aligned all three axles.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
