I have 295/60 R 22.5 on my steers on a 3.25 offset flat face wheel. I have had them roughly 4-5 months on these wheels. I gauged my tread depth the other day and so far the inside and outside is the same depth on both tires. I run a 255/70 R 22.5 all position tire on my drives and trailer.

I thought a low pro 24.5 was the same as a tall 22.5 not a low pro 22.5. Please explainbrian991219 and BigBob410 Thank this.

They are the same height from the ground to top of tire.
Standard 22.5 and 24.5 tire are also the same height from ground up.
The only difference is the rim size, but no difference in tire height.BigBob410 Thanks this. -
Yes but we are talking Low Pro 22.5. I had a carhauler at Allied that was a standard 22.5 and it looked like a monster when compared to a low pro. 2” difference.BigBob410 Thanks this.

Look...I learned something. I didn't know that.

According to the diagram a LP 24.5 is the same height as a 11R22.5 and not a LP 22.5.
-
The diagram above is for wheel. No tire height measurements are giving.
I'm pretty sure you can get very close or the same tire measurements. -
If they were the same size every carhaul company would be using 24.5 because they last longer. It is not reasonable for me to think a low pro 22.5 and a low pro 24.5 in the same model tire will be the same height. I know my heights were not the same with 22.5 Tall and 22.5 LP. I kind of think that is the whole point of a “Low Pro” tire. Maybe I am confused.

Actually it has the overall diameter with tire included there which is 40.1 inches for LP 22.5 and 41.4 inches for LP 24.5. Anyway it's pretty close.Intothesunset and Banker Thank this.
