Keep in mind, though, that some of the listed meds such as ACE inhibitors also work on certain recepter sites, (which control blood pressure), such as in the kidney. Ace inhibitors are especially liked because along with controlling blood pressure they are proven to slow an impending kidney problem and kidney disease.
So don't be too quick to switch meds unless your Dr. says that it's OK.
If you have a cardiologist on board clear any medications changes with him/her also.
