    I know you can get your cdl at 18 but can only truck instate. I was wondering what jobs there is for a person like this. He can drive for like a furniture store,swans,coke company. The only other thing I could think of is leasing truck,or running a dully,flatbed until you turn the magic number. I have driven quite a bit,and can back pretty good since my dad owns his own truck.(knock on wood). I haven't talked to my dad about it yet,but let me know what you think.

    It may be legal to receive a CDL for intrastate use at your age however in this economy I believe it to be very difficult to obtain employment at your age. In addition, all too many insurance companies are reluctant to take on a driver of your age and experience because of the increased risk involved. The liability factor for you would be too a great.
