yeah I have been working for them for the last 2 years. like any company theres good and bad stuff said about em. but basically it comes down to this, if you work hard you get rewarded. espically in the last year, they have been really working to reward the drivers that are as they deem dependable with the newer trucks and those that are constantly late, or always breaking down they give them the older trucks.

This company is one of the worst there is. They lie to the employees constantly. The thing about them having two days off a week is complete BS. They will promise you more money then cut your run rates but make you work more hours to get the money they promised. My husband works 18 to 20 hours a day and they give him no breaks and get no rest before the shove more loads down his throat. They tell him to lie on his logs and force him to haul overwieght. They force him to drive trucks with no brakes and trailers with no brakes, totally unsafe. His eqpuiptment is held together with duct tape and zip ties. They say if they don't haul it they will fire them then they demand the 3,000 bucks for training back.
Oh, and since they consider this a single man's job they do all they can to break up marriages to keep the guy working there. My marriage is over now because of the BS they have been pulling. They have stressed my husband out so much that he has given up on our family because he doesn't get to come home any ways.

Does anyone have any updated information on Gunville Trucking?

from what I hear they are having a hard time keeping drivers, their policy is that they can get new drivers for cheaper so why keep experience around and pay them what they are actually worth. I was told this by the owner himself the day I quit.
that for all the jobs I could do at that company (truck driver and heavy equipment operator) he could hire 5 people and pay them less than what he was paying me in the long run. which after 4 years of working for them is a kick in the teeth to me anyways. -
Seems the whole industry is doing the same thing.
What a crying shame.
Hope they die soon and so we survive the carnage reaped by this industry on all of us.
